Yucatan Spiced Turkey Cutlets
Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon Yucatan Dry Spice Rub (Get Recipe)
  • 4 turkey cutlets, about 1.5 pounds
    (service meat department)
  • 1 medium garlic clove, mashed (produce department)
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice (produce department or aisle # 3)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt, or to taste (aisle # 8)
  • 1 tablespoon plus 2 teaspoons Colavita olive oil (aisle # 8)
  • Mango-Avocado Salsa (Get Recipe)

Directions

  1. Place the turkey cutlets on a plate. In a small bowl, mix the garlic, lime juice, salt, and 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Spoon the above marinade over turkey and turn to coat.
  2. Measure out 1 tablespoon of Yucatan Dry Spice Rub and set aside. Sprinkle Yucatan Dry Spice Rub evenly over both sides of turkey cutlets. Cover and marinate, turning once or twice, about 1 hour.
  3. Heat stove top grill pan over medium high heat. If using a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of oil in the pan. Place the cutlets in the hot pan. Cook 2 - 3 minutes per side or until the cutlets are marked well by the grill or golden and no longer pink inside at the thickest part.
  4. Serve hot with salsa.
