+ 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
+ 3/4 tsp. salt, divided
+ 1/2 tsp. black pepper, divided
+ 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
+ 3 Tbsp. butter, divided
+ 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, lightly pounded
+ 1/4 c. slivered sweet onion
+ 1 c. quartered mushrooms
+ 1/2 c. Marsala wine
+ 1/4 c. chicken broth
+ 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
What to do:
1. In a shallow dish, combine flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper; mix well.
2. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat oil and melt 1 tablespoon butter. Coat chicken on both sides in flour mixture.
3. Saute chicken 3 to 4 minutes per side, or until golden. Remove to a plate. Add remaining butter, the onion, and mushrooms to skillet and saute 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
