Cedar Plank Grilled Salmon With Brown Sugar And Cracked Peppercorn Medley Blend Seasoning

Ingredients


  • 4 bonless & skinless salmon fillets,
    about 6 oz each.
  • 3 tsp dark brown sugar
  • 3 tsp McCormick Cracked Peppercorn Medley Spice Grinder Seasoning Blend.


Directions
 
  1. One cedar plank, soaked 1 hour prior in water
  2. Preheat grill on high for 10 minutes.
  3. Combine brown sugar and cracked pepper together in small bowl and mix together well.
  4. Clean grill with wire brush.
  5. Arrange salmon on plank.
  6. Rub brown sugar & pepper mixture evenly over fillets.
  7. Place plank with salmon on grill; close cover. Reduce heat to MEDIUM.
  8. Cook salmon 12-15 min until internal temperature reaches 130 degrees. Check by inserting thermometer halfway into thickest part of salmon. Remove from grill; let rest at least 2 min.

Grilling Tips
  • Keep spray bottle with water handy while grilling to control flare-ups.
  • Salmon grilling time may increase if cooked with vegetables, due to the opening and closing of grill lid to turn veggies.
  • The above recipe is complimented with a serving of horseradish sauce.
